The rain never stops around here. You slog down the alleyway, neon light reflecting in the shimmering puddles, briefly interrupted by the cars flying overhead. You round the corner, struggle through the smells and sounds of a makeshift marketplace, and look up. There, bathed in warm, glowing light and somehow miraculously untouched by the rain… is The VGMbassy.
Emily is back! After teaching all of us about Ecco the Dolphin on episode 1, today she’s hanging out as Ed discusses one of his passions: Dark and gritty Sci-Fi games. She’s got a few of her own to share, too! Stay tuned to the end of the show where they go on their own sci-fi time jump and reconvene two weeks later to clear up any questions they posed during the initial recording. Grab a seat on that graffiti-covered hovertrain and strap on those plutonium-powered headphones, there’s a lot of unique and fascinating music on today’s episode!
A huge thank you to Indira J (The Misadventures of Buddy and Friend, Sacrimony) for the amazing VGMbassy artwork and design, and to Trevin Hughes (aka chiptune composer Jredd) for the podcast theme song!
