This month’s Patreon-only podcast is special in more ways than one: It’s a Halloween companion piece to the awesome Patron-submission show that the community helped create, but it’s also the first “traditional” episode to be uploaded publicly! Embassy Exclusive is a bonus podcast that’s normally only offered to our VGMissary-tier ($3/mo) patrons and above, but as a special trick-and-treat, everyone gets to listen in on this one!
Our topics this month all revolve around the spirit of the season. Todd asks if we’ve ever been legitimately scared playing a video game. Joe leads a lengthy and patron-fueled discussion on violence and gore in games. Lastly, Ed shares a *very* creepy story about an experience playing Silent Hill and wonders if similar things have happened to anyone else. As usual, the topics are accompanied by a healthy dose of humor, fun, and some great music!
A huge thank you to Indira J (The Misadventures of Buddy and Friend, Sacrimony) for the amazing VGMbassy artwork and design, and to Trevin Hughes (aka chiptune composer Jredd) for the podcast theme song!
